Ingenient Tech MJPEG / Sony SNC-M1 Network Camera ------------------------------------------------- by Alex Beregszaszi / www.artificis.hu This is a dummy container format used on the Sony SNC-M1 Linux driven network camera. Actually Ingient looks like an embedded developer company, probably they ported Linux and some software to it. HEADER (always 48 bytes long) 32bit magic (=MJPG) 32bit packet size (without the header) 16bit width 16bit height 32bit unknown (zero) 32bit packet size again? (maybe padded?) 16bit unknown 16bit bitrate? (e.g. 1281) 16bit desired bitrate? (e.g. 256) 19bytes timestamp (YYYY-MM-DD HH:MM:SS) 3bytes zero After this standard JPEG data follows. Also after the SOI (0xFF 0xD8), there's a application2 (~=comment) field (0xFF 0xE2), which contains the string "Ingenient Technologies 2003". That's all :)
