Monique was (perhaps still is) in Bioinformatics marketing, and DoubleTwist Ventures is an amusing play on a now-defunct venture-funded Bioinformatics company called DoubleTwist.com (originally Pangea Systems.) Full disclosure: I worked at DoubleTwist right after they raised their first round of VC funding from Kleiner-Perkins but left when they repositioned the company as a dot-com and hired a bunch of BCG consultants who quickly put the company out of business...
